Biography: Ron Whittaker, born in Manchester in 1952.

After a five year course in Graphic design at art college in Stockport, ron worked for serveral years in various art studios and advertising agncies in and around Manchester before turning freelance.

Whilst working on commercial illustration, which consists of drawing just about anything, Ron Has Alaways been attracted to the particular discoplines of realistic figure work, and it was during a stint in America that he began to devote more and more time to this and less to the confines of commercial work.
